thanks to "coincoin" for this program...
now if you havent already you need to make a folder in the c:/ drive called bfdev....it will look like this
c:/bfdev
now you need to make 3 folders in there
objects folder
textures folder
standardmesh folder
now extract the objects,textures,and standardmesh from the mod your using and put in these folders
now extract your map to the c:/drive...it will make a folder and look like this
c:/bf1942
now after deleting the old editor42 and installing the new editor42 ver4 it will come to the setup directory
all you need to change are the first 2 lines...
in the first line put this (base directory)
c:\bfdev\
in the second line put this (levels directory)
c:\bf1942\levels\
now when you select open it should have your map name in the listing box..select it and your map should show and you should be able to edit like usual...and a few nicely added features..will post more on this new tool soon...
